" NYD 5K A Strong Start to the KTC 2026 Grand Prix Team Racing Season"

Katie Baksa, Marion Corum, and Parson Campen opened their 2026 racing season in dramatic style as they claimed top finishes in the New Year’s Day 5k.
Katie and Marion finished 1 – 2 Overall in the Women’s race. Katie clocked 16:42 in a dominating performance. Running her first race with our team, Marion took second place with a 30 second lead over the third-place finisher.
In the Men’s race, newcomer Parson Campen edged former Team TN Pre runner Ethan Coffey by three seconds to claim second place. Parson’s time of 16:19 was the best finishing time for our team since Darren Driscoll registered 16:23 in the 2023 race.
In Masters competition, wins were taken by Doug Ross (Male Grandmaster), Angela Sellers (Female Grandmaster), and Debbie Allen (Female Senior Grandmaster).
Contributing much needed top five Age Group finishes to the team’s final tally of 98 points were Bill Beecher, Joe Hicks, Ronnie Cross, Darren Driscoll, Bradley Adams, Paul Horton, Ken Sirois, Kris Corbitt, Hannah Reymond, Marian Schmidt, Ebalyn Sellers, Shirley Sirois, Kyoko Yamamoto, and Chang-Hong Yu.
